Next years Assassins Creed game may have been leaked ans it’s code named “Victory”.
Gaming blog Kotaku broke the leak reporting that the next Assassins Creed will launch on next gen and PC next year. The game will be set in Victorian London, a long requested location by series fans. The images, which you can see in full at Kotaku, look fairly impressive and have a distinctly Assassins Creed look.
Running presumably in AC’s Anvil engine the game looks impressive, then again so did this years Assassins Creed Unity. It also looks like fighting on stage coaches is happening too – so yay!
Ubisoft has released a statement implying these images are legitimate, they really look it too. They publisher said:
“It is always unfortunate when internal assets, not intended for public consumption, are leaked. And, while we certainly welcome anticipation for all of our upcoming titles, we’re disappointed for our fans, and our development team, that this conceptual asset is now public. The team in our Quebec studio has been hard at work on the particular game in question for the past few years, and we’re excited to officially unveil what the studio has been working on at a later date. In the meantime, our number one priority is enhancing the experience of Assassin’s Creed Unity for players.”
