Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Delayed to 2016

Naughty Dog has announced that Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has been delayed from Fall ’15 back to 2016.

Uncharted 4’s directors Bruce Straley and Neil Druckmann took to the PlayStation blog to announce the delay. The duo discussed how they feel Uncharted 4 “deserves every bit of the attention to detail, precise pacing, and nuanced storytelling Naughty Dog is known for.”

“We’ve made the difficult choice of pushing the game’s release date.” They continue “a few extra months will make certain that Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End not only meets the team’s high standards but the high standards that gamers have come to expect from a Naughty Dog title.”

Straley and Druckmann thanked fans for their patience and promised “come Spring 2016, you and Nate are in for one thrilling, emotional ride.”
