EA Replaces Tigers Woods with Rory McIlroy as the Face of PGA Tour
It’s time to stop calling the PGA Tour series ‘Tiger Woods’ instinctively because EA has replaced the long time mascot with Rory McIlroy.
Starting July the series will be known as “EA Sports Rory McIlroy PGA Tour”.
“I’m very proud and humbled to see my face and name on EA Sports Rory McIlroy PGA Tour,” said McIlroy. “This is a great honour, and something I couldn’t even dream of growing up playing the sport. I really hope people enjoy the game and I’m very glad I can be a part of it.”
EA Sports Rory McIlroy PGA Tour will launch in July on PS4 and Xbox One. The instalment will be the first in the series to use EA’s Frostbite Engine.

Developer From Software has “implemented various niceties” into Bloodborne’s remote play to make it easier to play on the Vita.
From hopes that “a few clever re-mapping solutions” will help players enjoy Bloodborne using the handheld SCEA, Social Media Manager Sid Shuman said on the PlayStation Blog.
In addition Shuman spoke about some other game impressions. He talked a bit about character creation including some character origins listing some examples: ” Troubled Childhood (high resilience), Violent Past (high strength), and Waste of Skin (nearly helpless)”.
“Bloodborne’s weapons are multifaceted marvels, each effectively serving as two weapons in one. Combined with firearms like the Hunter’s Pistol and Blunderbuss, I strung together wicked multipart combos that shredded enemy mobs quickly and efficiently.” He said as he explained weapons.
